Goodbye, My Old Friend

2026

A new journey awaits, but do not fear what is not known.

Vast landscapes have a way of revealing our true scale. Here, an expanse of sky and sea surrounds a solitary sailboat, whose presence transforms the scene from one of isolation into one of quiet resolve. Though dwarfed by the immensity around it, the boat continues forward, suggesting that courage is often measured not by certainty, but by the willingness to keep moving.

The opening in the clouds offers no dramatic conclusion, only a gentle reminder that even the darkest horizons contain light. Rather than portraying a destination, the painting reflects the moments in life when hope appears as something subtle, found not in the absence of uncertainty, but within it.
